Car Wheel Rim Protector Strips, 8m Length for Alloy Rims up to 22 Inch, Universal Fit 16-23 Inch

Help protect your alloy wheel rims from everyday kerb scuffs and minor impacts with these easy-to-fit decorative strips. Made from high-quality PET, they are lightweight, flexible and straightforward to install without needing to bleed air or use a lifting jack. The universal design suits rims from 16 to 23 inches, allowing you to colour-match or accent your vehicle's wheels with a choice of ten colours. Each set provides 8 metres of tape, and depending on wheel diameter, it can cover up to five wheels.

Features and Construction

These protective strips are built with practicality in mind, using durable PET material and a strong adhesive backing for reliable attachment.

Material and Build

The strips are made from high-quality PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which offers flexibility and resistance to minor impacts. Each strip is backed with 3M double-sided tape, known for its strong bond once applied to a clean, dry surface. The material is lightweight and does not add significant weight to the wheel assembly.

Size and Practical Fit

With a total length of 8 metres (26.2 feet), the strip can be cut to size for wheels up to 22 inches in diameter. For 16-17 inch rims, one set decorates five wheels with some leftover; for 18-19 inch rims, it decorates five wheels; and for 20-23 inch rims, it decorates four wheels. This makes it a versatile choice for cars, SUVs and vans.

Uses and Placement

These strips are designed for alloy wheel rims and serve both protective and decorative purposes. Their universal sizing and colour range suit a wide variety of vehicles and personal styles.

Vehicle Types and Compatibility

The strips fit most standard alloy wheels up to 23 inches in diameter, making them suitable for hatchbacks, saloons, SUVs and light commercial vehicles. They are not limited to a single vehicle brand and can be applied to aftermarket or original-equipment rims.

Colour and Customisation

Available in ten colours — green, pink, red, orange, blue, black, silver, yellow, white, and purple — the strips allow you to match or contrast with your car's paintwork. Multiple strips can be layered for a thicker look if desired, though each strip is intended as a single-layer application.

Benefits and Buying Value

The combination of easy installation, generous length and material quality offers practical value for anyone looking to protect their alloy rims without professional help.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Once fitted, the strips can be removed and replaced if they become damaged or if you wish to change colour. The adhesive leaves minimal residue when properly removed, and the strips themselves require only occasional cleaning with soapy water. No special tools or equipment are needed for maintenance.

Why Choose This Product

Compared to painting or applying permanent rim protectors, these adhesive strips offer a reversible, low-cost way to guard against scuffs. The 8-metre length provides enough material for multiple wheels, and the absence of a need for a jack or air-bleeding makes installation possible for anyone. The wide colour choice further adds to the product's appeal for customisation.
