It supports both NVMe and SATA protocols through two model variants: the I9 Explorer with JMS583 controller for NVMe drives, and the I8 Explorer with JMS580B controller for SATA drives. The all-aluminium alloy construction provides a sturdy housing that helps dissipate heat during use. Drives up to 2TB capacity are supported, and the enclosure works with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.

Features and Construction

Each model is built around a specific controller chip and cable configuration to match the intended drive protocol.
