Rear view mirror traffic recorder with 1080P HD video and 4.0 inch display

This new traffic recorder rear view mirror is designed for drivers who want a combined driving recorder and replacement rear view mirror in one unit. It clips over your existing mirror using straps, so there is no need to remove factory parts or clutter your windscreen. The 4.0 inch single-record display shows live footage from the front-facing 120° lens and lets you review recorded clips directly without a separate screen. With 1080P resolution and a 3 megapixel sensor, the recorded video captures clear details for insurance or evidence purposes. The unit also includes parking monitoring and motion detection, so it can start recording automatically when it senses movement around your parked vehicle. Loop recording ensures the memory card is always writing over older clips, so you never run out of space during long journeys.

Features and Construction

The recorder is built around an SM 6624 motherboard and a 7670 four-glass lens, which work together to produce steady, consistent video. The lens angle of 120° covers a wide view of the road ahead without the extreme distortion of wider fisheye lenses. The device measures 310 mm wide, 79 mm tall, and 16 mm deep, making it similar in size to a standard rear view mirror.

Material and Build

The unit is constructed from a combination of electronics and a plastic housing, with the four-glass lens assembly seated inside the mirror body. The bare weight is 0.12 kg, and the complete package with accessories weighs 0.35 kg. The recorder is powered by a 12 V car charger that outputs 5 V at 1 A, with the charging cable included.

Size and Practical Fit

At 310 x 79 x 16 mm, the recorder is designed to fit over most standard rear view mirrors. The straps supplied allow a secure, adjustable mount without tools. The 4.0 inch screen is large enough for clear viewing but does not obstruct the driver's line of sight when positioned correctly.

Uses and Placement

This recorder is intended primarily for everyday driving, where it records the road ahead continuously. The motion detection and parking monitoring features make it useful for drivers who park on the street or in shared lots, as the recorder can begin recording when it detects movement near the vehicle.

Event or Professional Use

For professional drivers or those who carry out regular deliveries, the continuous loop recording and playback review function provide a reliable record of each journey. The 1080P video resolution is sufficient for identifying number plates and road signs in daylight conditions.

Everyday Home Use

Private car owners will appreciate the convenience of a mirror-mounted unit that does not require suction cups or adhesive pads. The parking monitor can capture incidents while the vehicle is left unattended, and the playback function lets you review footage on the spot if needed.

Benefits and Buying Value

The recorder offers a straightforward way to add dash-cam functionality to a car without installing multiple separate devices. By using the existing mirror location, the unit stays out of the driver's main field of view and does not block the windscreen.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The device is designed to be moved between vehicles if needed, thanks to the strap mounting system. It requires only a TF memory card (8 to 32 GB) for storage, which can be replaced or upgraded by the user. The one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, giving basic assurance for the purchase.

Why Choose This Product

Customers who want a combined rear view mirror and HD recorder in a single package will find this unit meets basic recording needs. It includes both parking monitor and motion detection functions, adding security value beyond simple continuous recording. The 1080P resolution and 120° lens provide a balanced combination of clarity and coverage for typical road use.
