USB-Powered 3D LED Mood Lamp with Seven Colour Selection and Remote Control

This USB-powered 3D LED lamp serves as a versatile source of ambient lighting for desks, bedside tables, or living room shelves. With its straightforward USB power connection, it draws minimal energy at just 0.5W from a standard 5V source, making it practical for extended use without significant power consumption. The lamp offers multiple control methods, featuring both a touch-sensitive switch directly on the unit and an included remote control for convenient operation from a distance. Its decorative potential is enhanced by seven distinct solid colour options – red, green, blue, yellow, purple, white, and celadon – alongside a colourful gradient mode that cycles through hues.

Features and Construction

The lamp’s core design revolves around a single acrylic plate that forms the main 3D visual element, providing a modern aesthetic. Practical construction details ensure straightforward setup and use, with all necessary components included for immediate operation.

Material and Build

The main body of the lamp is crafted from acrylic, a material chosen for its light-transmitting properties and structural stability. To protect this acrylic plate during shipping and handling, it arrives with a double-sided protective film that should be peeled off before the lamp is used. This removal reveals the clear, smooth surface that will effectively diffuse the LED light. The lamp operates on very low power, drawing just 0.5W at 5V via the supplied USB cable, which connects to common USB ports on computers, adapters, or power banks.

Size and Practical Fit

The main acrylic plate measures 251 millimetres in length, 142 millimetres in height, and 87 millimetres in depth, giving it a substantial presence without dominating a desk or shelf. This plate sits securely on a separate base unit measuring 85mm by 85mm with a 43mm height, providing stable support. The entire assembly, including the base, weighs 0.35 kilograms, making it easy to reposition as needed. With its compact overall footprint, the lamp fits comfortably on most surfaces intended for decorative or ambient lighting.

Uses and Placement

Designed for ambient rather than task lighting, this lamp creates mood lighting suitable for various environments. Its USB power source increases placement flexibility, as it does not require proximity to a wall socket. The included remote control adds convenience, allowing adjustment from across a room.

Event or Professional Use

For event settings or professional environments like reception areas, the lamp can provide consistent, low-level accent lighting. The seven solid colour options allow matching with specific colour schemes or branding, while the gradient mode creates dynamic visual interest. The remote control enables staff to adjust lighting without approaching the unit, useful in retail displays or during presentations where lighting changes might be required. Its low power draw makes it suitable for venues where multiple lights are used simultaneously.

Everyday Home Use

In home settings, the lamp functions as a bedside light, desktop accent, or living room decorative piece. The touch control offers immediate adjustment for reading light or creating a relaxing atmosphere before sleep. Colour selection allows users to match room décor or create specific moods – warmer tones for evening relaxation or brighter colours for playful accents. Children’s rooms might benefit from the colourful options as night lights, with the remote allowing parents to adjust settings after bedtime without disturbing the child.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value proposition centres on versatility, ease of use, and low ongoing power requirements. Unlike many decorative lamps, this model includes multiple control methods and colour options within a single unit, reducing the need for additional accessories.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

With no filaments to replace or complex components to service, the LED light source offers extended usable life with minimal maintenance. The acrylic construction is wipe-clean with a soft cloth once the protective film is removed. The USB power connection means the lamp can be used with existing USB chargers or power banks, increasing its utility across different rooms or even during travel if a suitable power source is available. All essential accessories – USB cable, remote control, and base – are included, so no additional purchases are necessary for basic operation.

Why Choose This Product

This lamp provides specific advantages for buyers seeking adjustable mood lighting without complex installation. The inclusion of both touch control and a remote offers flexibility that many similar lamps omit, while the seven solid colours plus gradient mode exceed the typical two- or three-colour options found in basic models. The precise dimensions (251x142x87mm for the plate, 85x85x43mm for the base) allow buyers to assess fit accurately before purchase. The complete package – lamp, base, USB cable, remote, and manual – means everything needed for use arrives together.
